The Grand Vin of Château Rousseau de Sipian is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot coming from the parcels with the best exposure.   The grapes are picked by hand when they reach optimal maturity then vinified in accordance with the quality potential of each vintage.   Afterwards the blended wines are aged in oak barrels for a minimum of 12 months.  Finally, at the end of this period a meticulous selection of the different lots is made and the wine now finished is bottled.

Les Tourelles de Sipian is a wine made on the property of Château Rousseau de Sipian, and receives the same care and attention given to the Grand Vin.   Conceived to give pleasure whilst young, this supple wine, attractive on the palate and endowed with a delightful aromatic complexity can be appreciated very soon after it is made.

The rosé wine produced at Château Rousseau de Sipian is said to be “bled rosé” which means that before starting the fermentation of the red wine, part of the juice is run off.    The light-coloured juice that is obtained is vinified at a low temperature in order to retain all the fruity aromas and bottling follows shortly afterwards.   This is a fresh, fruity wine that will find a place on every table, whatever the occasion
